NOTICE OF ELECTION
TOWN OF WEST POINT, ALABAMA
Notice is hereby given on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 an election for the purpose of electing a Mayor and Town Council will be held, and that ALL registered and qualified electors of the state, who reside within the corporate limits of the Town of West Point and have resided therein for 30 days or more immediately preceding the date of such election, and who are qualified to vote in the county precinct which embraces and covers that part of the corporate limits of the municipality in which the elector resides, will be authorized to participate in said election.

- COUNCIL PLACE #3
- COUNCIL PLACE #4
- COUNCIL PLACE #5
The polls will be open at the West Point Town Hall, 3990 County Road l 142, Cullman, Alabama at 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on August 26, 2025. If necessary, a run-off election will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Any qualified elector who will have resided within the municipality, for a period of at least 30 days on Election Day may qualify to run for office by filing the appropriate forms with the Town Clerk and paying appropriate fees as set by Mayor & Town Council in 02/17/2025 meeting. ($25.00 Mayor and $10.00 for Council Members.)
Qualifying begins on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. Qualifying shall end at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 5:00 pm.
